MGB XII’s giant Christmas Tree in its office entrance held at the grounds of the Prime Regional Center in Barangay Carpenter Hill was lauded by the PasKoronadal Judges on December 19, 2020.
The MGB XII giant Christmas Tree stands at 7.9 meters high with a 5 meters diameter base. It was constructed from bamboo sticks, fish nets, printed designs of Christmas balls, minerals and Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs). The said decorations symbolize hope and a reflection of the current situation in the office, respectively.
It was a challenge for MGB XII to create a façade signifying love and hope. Bound by camaraderie and positivity, MGB XII personnel intricately crafted a giant Christmas tree complemented with fairy lights, gifts and Santa Minero, the MGB XII mannequin.
MGB XII’s Christmas Landmark was adjudged 2nd place last December 22, 2020. The Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) XII was declared the 1st placer with their Christmas Belen theme. Both MGB and EMB are line bureaus of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).
Participating National Government Agencies in Region XII supported this week-long celebration of PasKoronadal by decorating their offices façade with Christmas themed designs, different wreath styles, and buildings lighted with multi-colored sparkling lights. Other NGAs also participated in the PasKoronadal Online Contest.
