The Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) XII held last November 24, 2020 a “Salamat, Mabuhay Program” dedicated to four (4) MGB personnel who will retire from public service.
The MGB XII retirees include Mike P. Diamel, Supervising Science Research Specialist of the Mine Safety, Environment and Social Development Division (MSESDD), who served for 34-years, Annabelle B. Gonzales, Planning Officer II of the Office of the Regional Director (ORD), 43 years , Ali Z. Mangelen, Administrative Assistant III, 34 years and Bolawan D. Hassan, Administrative Assistant II, 31 years, both designated at the Finance and Administrative Division (FAD).
The retirees were treated to a simple ceremony. Emotions welled up as their co-workers recognized their contributions to the office. Some family members of the retirees attended the event and imparted heartfelt messages for their retiring loved ones. Key officials awarded plaques of appreciation, tokens from MGB XII and a monetary gift to the retired personnel.
MGB XII Regional Director Felizardo A. Gacad, Jr. also handed over plaques and certificates to MGB XII employees for their loyalty in government service. Lilia A. Acosta, Marilyn D. Dicierto, Caidar S. Sambarani, Ali Z. Mangelen and Sulbaya N. Gayak received a plaque for their 30 years in service while certificates were given to Sabrawi S. Pangcoga and Roger M. Tamayo who served government for 25 years and Antonio C. Calungsod for 20 years.
The “Salamat, Mabuhay Program” aimed to recognize the dedication and commitment of retiring employees in government service as mandated by CSC MC No. 7, series of 1998 while a Loyalty Award is given to government employees that completed atleast 10 years of continuous and satisfactory service under the CSC Memorandum Circular No. 42 series 1992.
