In its bid to ensure the safety, health and welfare at work of employees and clients, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau XII implemented its “New Normal Safety Protocols” on Monday, May 4, 2020 at MGB XII building, City of Koronadal.

MGB XII personnel led by OIC, Regional Director Felizardo A. Gacad, Jr. formulated guidelines for the new normal setting in conducting the ease of doing business amidst the health crisis.

The New Normal guidelines include a visitors’ tent outside the office as waiting area while a maximum of 2 clients will be allowed to enter the receiving area. A health declaration form must be filled out by the clients upon entering the office. Handwashing sinks and footbaths are placed conveniently for the clients and employees to use.

MGB XII strictly implements a “No Face Mask, No Entry policy” and mandatory physical and social distancing to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

As the country returns to “normalcy,” the public is encouraged to adapt to a new normal setting to gradually flatten the curve of the COVID-19 pandemic.
