MGB XII "Hydro Team", led by Supervising Geologist Princess Danielle B. Matas, conducts Georesistivity Survey in parts of municipality of Polomolok, South Cotabato.

Georesistivity survey is a geophysical technique which indirectly investigates the physical characteristics (resistivity) of the subsurface earth layers using the resistivity meter. It is a relatively cost-effective means to determine the thickness and depth of the subsurface layers (eg. aquifer) that is greatly useful in the exploration of groundwater potential in an area.

Georesistivity Survey is one of the technical assistance services offered and provided by the Bureau to LGU’s and water districts in search for groundwater resource.
